President & Chief Executive Officer
Glenn is GAIN Capital’s President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. He joined GAIN Capital in 2000 as a founding partner and managing director.
Glenn is a financial industry veteran with more than 30 years of trading and foreign exchange (FX) experience at several leading global financial institutions. Prior to joining GAIN Capital, Glenn was managing director and head of FX North American sales and trading at NatWest Bank. He also served as a member of NatWest's North American Management Committee. Prior to NatWest, he spent seven years at Merrill Lynch and Co, finishing his tenure there as managing director and chief dealer for spot and forward FX. Glenn began his FX career in 1984 at Bankers Trust Company.
Chief Financial Officer
Nigel is GAIN Capital’s Group Finance Director, responsible for leading GAIN Capital’s global finance organization. Nigel joined GAIN Capital following the acquisition of City Index in April 2015.
Nigel brings over 20 years of experience in various financial management and leadership roles. He served as Chief Financial Officer of City Index since March 2010. Prior to that role, Nigel spent ten years as the Finance Director for Rank Group plc’s online division, having joined as part of its acquisition of Blue Square, where he established the finance function and was heavily involved in its subsequent sale to Rank in 2003.
From 1997 until 2000, Nigel served in a series of financial roles for financial firms in the UK. He also spent seven years at a start-up cable TV company in various finance roles and was involved in its listing on NASDAQ in 1994.
Chief Information Officer
Mike leads GAIN Capital’s technology strategy for its retail business and oversees the information systems and infrastructure. He joined GAIN Capital following the acquisition of City Index in April 2015.
Mike served as Chief Information Officer for City Index prior to its acquisition by GAIN Capital. Prior to this role with City Index, Mike worked for over 20 years consulting to investment banks on technology systems, primarily relating to market risk and asset management. During this period, he implemented real-time cash flow and risk systems for HBOS, ING and Santander, and held a number of market data roles for online gambling companies.
Chief Risk Officer
Tim oversees all aspects of the Company’s risk management, including market, credit and operational risk.
He joined GAIN Capital in 2000 as Global Head of Trading and assumed the role of Chief Risk Officer in 2013. Tim has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets, including holding senior trading positions at global financial institutions, such as Merrill Lynch, where he was director of the NY Sterling desk, and Standard Chartered Bank, where he spent eight-years in senior trading roles, including overseeing the forward books in DEM and trading spot Far East and exotic currencies.
Chief Commercial Officer
Samantha directs strategy, marketing, sales, product development, customer experience management and key growth strategies for the Company’s retail business. She joined GAIN Capital in October 1999 as a founding partner, responsible for GAIN’s marketing function, including advertising, brand management, customer marketing and corporate communications. In 2006, she was appointed Chief Marketing Officer and in 2008 assumed responsibility for direct sales. In 2013, she was appointed Chief Commercial Officer.
Prior to joining GAIN Capital, Samantha was director of marketing for FNX Limited, where she led global marketing activities, including partnership marketing initiatives. During her five-year tenure, FNX grew from a relatively unknown derivatives software firm to a leader in its field, and one of the fastest-growing companies in the US.
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Diego Rotsztain oversees the global legal and compliance functions and leads GAIN Capital’s global corporate development activities.
Diego joined GAIN Capital in January 2011 as General Counsel and was appointed Head of Corporate Development in 2012. Prior to joining GAIN Capital, Diego was a partner at Mayer Brown, where he was responsible for leading capital markets and merger and acquisition transactions for global companies and providing them with ongoing corporate governance, SEC reporting and general corporate and transactional advice. Prior to Mayer Brown, Diego was a corporate attorney in Davis Polk & Wardwell's Capital Markets Group.
Diego began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable David G. Trager in the Eastern District of New York. He earned a J.D. with honors from Columbia University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff oversees global operations and human resources, as well as the strategic planning and growth of the Company’s non-retail business lines.
Prior to joining GAIN Capital in 2011, Jeff had over 15 years of operational and technology leadership experience in and around the financial services industry, including as president of Toluna USA. Jeff also held senior positions at several digital media businesses, including LexisNexis and SourceMedia. From 1999 until 2005, Jeff served in a number of capacities at Thomson Reuters, including chief technology officer and chief product officer.
